Kits

Kits include:

General instructions and hints for cutting perforated paper, with a pattern and paper for two practice crosses
A picture and instructions for the project in the kit
Perforated paper for the project
A "snipple box" to manage the stray bits ("snipples") of paper

You will need to provide:

A sharp craft knife, such as Exacto with #11 standard blades. The break-away blades do not work well.
A cutting surface. A self-healing mat is perfect, but cardboard from the back of a large pad of paper will work. Glass or tile, as used for scherenschnitte, is too hard.

This kit includes patterns and paper for a skeleton, black cat, and pumpkin. Part of the skeleton is cut on the diagonal. Level 2.

Autumn Pumpkin Kit

This little piece has very irregularly shaped layers, but they still follow the rules about decreasing in size. Level 3.

Quilt-Block Cross Kit

This piece combines regular blocks of the flat work with the simplest type of layered work. Level 2.

Flower-Border Greeting Card Kit

This versatile pattern fits a 4.25 x 5.5" card. The flowers on the border use the layered technique, and the basic diagonal background can be extended or shortened as needed. Use a sticker, rubber stamp, or any centerpiece that you like for the card. The flowers look nice in the same color as the background or a contrasting color. Level 2.

The kit contains instructions and paper for just the papercutting; the flower and Santa are not included. You supply the card and centerpiece of your choice; it's up to your creativity.
